Taking a well deserved break!!! Really kicked HARD against this break....so out of character...so used to chugging along...but beginning to feel very refreshed!!! havent made any books yet...still get drawn to the studio...look around for a minute or two. want to work...but my body simply wants rest!!

Could get used to this!!!!

Getting ready....!!!!!

Got my head down!!!! getting ready for KIOO ART FESTIVAL tomorrow!!! Pulling out all (every single one...no stone left unturned [dont you just love cliche] the stops!!!

first taste

Wow! Just had my very first Stella Artois Cidre! Really really nice...doesn't taste like 'piss' (well beer tastes awful!!) but this is awesome...love it!!!
Alcohol content 4.5% but I'm so lightheaded feeling bit woozy already...it'll clear soon

Don't know if I can finish a bottle but it sure tastes gooood!!

portraiture

finally finished a commission and itching for another....painting can be soooo therapeutic! Portrait painting is my new love....never knew I would fall for it. Always felt portraiture was not as spontaneous as abstract art...but how very wrong I am!!!

Portraiture is what you make it...as long as it is true to form...the colours used are irrevelant..I could paint purple skin and blue hair in the right shades and voila...still recognisable!!

Portraiture is wow!! You paint the character of the person onto canvas...I love it!!!
I am loathe to part with the completed commission but alas it is not mine to keep....

Getting ready for Leather Lane Market...! Tinsie bit apprehensive...because will be one of the very few handmade stalls in the market...Should really be a plus!! But being me....(bit of a perfectionist) want everything 'just so')....

(note to self) = Being one of the very few handmade stalls at Leather Lane will be a novelty and absolute fun!!!

Now I'm ready for Leather Lane!!
